Add i-Boating maps to your website.

i-Boating maps web-api allows other companies to display our charts and  HD lake contour maps on their website. The API allows overlaying custom GIS data (line, points, areas) on top of i-Boating nautical charts base map.

HD Contour maps for South Carolina Lakes

We have added support for popular South Carolina Lakes including Lake Marion and Moultrie, Lake Murray, Wateree, Thurmond and more.
We have tried to include as many layers as possible including HD contours, buoys, streams etc.

ENC Charts for inland lakes in Europe

We have recently over 3000 HD contour maps for inland lakes in Europe. The new vector lake maps cover parts of England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Finland more. We have prioritized the lakes requested by our customers.

Over the upcoming months we will be adding more vector lake maps covering Europe. If you do not see your lake, please let us know.

The largest lake depth maps database for US & Canada now includes HD bathymetry for Lake Havasu as well as Lake Mohave.



Lake Havasu and Lake Mohave depth charts are available for download on iOS, Android , Windows and MacBook.

External GPS with i-Boating on Windows and Macbook

i-Boating supports using external GPS receivers (USB, Bluetooth, serial port etc) on both Windows and Macbook. It is important that you use the latest version.

Setting up GPS with i-Boating on Windows and Macbook

If GPS isn't configured, the application will prompt you to configure it.
You can configure it anytime using the steps below:

  • Tap more button in the action bar on the bottom left
  • Tap on Setting
  • In Settings screen, tap on GPS Settings
  • Select the device that matches your GPS. On Windows, its usually some COM port. On Mac you will see a different name.
  • Tap Save







i-Boating Windows ENC Chart Plotter

i-Boating for Windows has been updated. It can now be downloaded directly from our website.


Most external GPS and AIS receivers (USB, Bluetooth, Serial Port) should work with the version downloaded directly from our website.

You may have to select "Run Anyway" if the installation is blocked by Windows.
