Europe Inland Rivers/Waterways update (Canal Du Midi, Rhone river and more....)
We've pushed a major update to our folio that covers inland rivers and waterways in Europe. ENC/Vector cells covering the following major regions were added:
Highlight shallow areas using custom depth shading in i-Boating
i-Boating app now supports custom depth shading to highlight shallow areas. I've included a specific example at the end illustrating how to use and before/after screenshots.

Before depth shading
For e.g. this is what the default map looks for New Jersey inter coastal waterway. There are two depth areas here (one below 2.95 ft and the other above it). When navigating you would want to highlight the shallow area with a different color.

You can use object query to find out depth range of an area. Simply long touch any where int the area and select "Object Query".

- Tap menu/overflow button and select "Settings"
- Scroll down and check the box that says "Enable Custom Depth Shading"
- Change shallow depth to 0 ft and safety depth to 2.9f ft
- Tap Save

Lake Muritz, Lake Boodensee, Odra river and more...
We have recently added coverage for the following regions. I've also added a few screenshots for Lake Muritz at the end.
- Lake Muritz
- Lake Constance/Boodensee
- Odra river....
Please use the following steps to get this update:
- Delete old maps, (This step is important. New map cells are not downloaded if older ones exist).
- Re-download map cells.
Deleting old maps
- Tap menu/overflow button on top right(for Android, its lower right for iPhone) and select "Settings"
- In settings screen, scroll down and tap on "Delete All Maps"
Downloading new maps
- -Tap on download icon on top left on your device.. This will show download grid.
- - Tap to select grid cells you wish to download. If a grid cell is already downloaded it will show as green.
- - Tap "Press to Download
